Hands on Experimental Design for Product Reformulation, Optimisation & Concept Matching
Designed to give you the knowledge, practice and the tools to carry out your own design and analysis of trials to identify ingredient functionality and move quickly to new optimum performance or liking formulations.
Hands-on exercises, free DESIGN EXPERT software for participants to take away

Course Presented by

 Anne Hasted,

October 6th-8th 2010
Venue:  MicroTek Computer Training Facility
90 Broad Street
11th Floor, Manhattan, New York, NY 10004

Course Organiser
Hal MacFie

This course forms a hands-on introduction for researchers and new product developers who need to understand how product components work together to influence consumers and to optimise particular performance characteristics. Based around the use of DESIGN EXPERT, attendees will gain practical experience using real-life examples and will be able to save their work to take away with a free copy the DESIGN EXPERT software (worth $995.00 at full commercial rates) so they will be competent to start using their expertise from day 1 after the course.

ABOUT THE LECTURER

Anne Hasted began her career as an academic statistician at Reading University but now runs Qi Statistics Ltd which offers statistical training, data analysis and consultancy support to research and industry, together with software solutions including SENPAQ and Design Express software packages. Anne has wide training and consultancy experience particularly in the area of product improvement and has an international reputation for “user friendly” training.

We believe these to be the best computer training facilities in Manhattan. The MicroTek New York City training center is located in the heart of the financial district in downtown Manhattan just 2-blocks south of the New York Stock Exchange. In addition to purpose built computer training facilities there are ample computers to catch up on e-mail at the breaks and over lunch.

Close proximity to hotels, public transportation, and points of interest such as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island makes the computer facility a great location for your next training event.

Go to http://www.mclabs.com/facilities/New%5FYork/ For Photo tour and details of location, nearby hotels etc.

For interest we are staying at the Club Quarters downtown which is only 3 short blocks from the facility. This hotel needs to be booked well ahead of time. We have found that www.newyorkhotels.com can be a cost effective route to book nearer the time.
