Nestle Consumer Site Lead

Nestlé is the world's largest food company and ranks number one for its investments in research and development. Our Product Technology Centre (PTC) Singen in Germany is specializing in the development of culinary and dough-based products, cold sauces, and baby food products as well as in the development of the necessary manufacturing technologies. We provide support from the initial concept to the final installation of the production equipment.

In order to support our Concept, Nutrition and Sensory Department we are looking for a:

Consumer Site Lead for Stuttgart

to start asap.

Tasks:
Manage all aspects of the consumer research testing process, including test preparation, execution, and
data capture and cleaning. Act as the manager of the consumer research facility.


Project-related activities (75%)

  • Manage the preparation, organization and execution of consumer tests by following and also creating
    specific, detailed instructions for contractors at consumer research facility

  • Use FIZZ software to build tests and execute with consumer panel, and prepare data for analysis.

  • Manage the testing facility, including scheduling workers, maintaining supplies, securing incentives, coordinating services for the facility, and solving issues in coordination with the Sensory and Consumer Manager.

  • Manage facility calendar

People development (20%)

  • Train contract workers in the principles of consumer research and the specifics of each research project.

Knowledge development (5%)

  • Keep up with new developments in the field of sensory and consumer research to adapt, apply and
    improve sensory evaluation methods within Nestlé

  • Develop and maintain network with Nestlé Research and Development
Profile:
  • Academic background in Food Science, Food Technology or similar at university level
  • Experience with sensory and/or consumer research methods
  • Fluency in German (French) language required; Good to fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Fizz Software (beneficial)
  • Fluency in German and English mandatory (written and spoken) other languages are a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and practical skills
  • Curiosity, initiative and result orientation
  • Team spirit, motivation and organization skills
