Kraft Foods Global, Inc.
is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Scientist-Consumer Research to work within
its Snacks business unit located in East Hanover, NJ.
As a Sr. Scientist,
Consumer Research, you would have the opportunity to interface with cross functional
clients within the Snacks business unit to build a fundamental understanding of
the impact of product and packaging components on consumer acceptability and choice
behavior. In addition, you would also be responsible for developing and executing
relevant consumer
testing programs in conjunction with business plans and
R&D strategies, communicating results and making recommendations which are
clear, concise and compelling. The Consumer Research Scientist is an integral
member of the cross functional business team that are comprised of R&D, sensory,
statistics, marketing and marketing research. Key responsibilities
inculde the following: - Design and implement consumer
research strategies to deliver optimal products in accordance with business plans
- Collaborate
with Kraft Scientists to ensure consumer guidance is appropriately incorporated
into research plans
- Serve as point of contact for consumer
guidance research within the assigned business unit (as appropriate)
- Manage
consumer guidance budget for the business unit in accordance with R&D and
business priorities
- Qualified candidates should possess
the following:
- M.S. in Food Science, Marketing Research,
Psychology or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years experience
executing consumer research within a consumer packaged goods manufacturer or marketing
research supplier
- Strong background in statistics and
experimental design
- Strong drive for results, and ability
to bring projects to completion
- Ability to handle multiple
projects concurrently
- Excellent written and oral communication
skills
- Strong negotiating skills
