AIB1003416 As Consumer Scientist/ Psychologist you
will lead our client's research into current consumer behaviour relating to the
use of their products. You will provide clear expert guidance
and direction for research, and will help understand how regulation has impacted
consumer behaviour in different global markets and cultures. As Consumer Scientist/
Psychologist you will also help our client understand the consumer's evolving
attitude to the use of their products. As part of this research you will help
identify possible trends or product manifestations that may prove interesting
to consumers in the future and provide direction for the work effort within our
client's Applied Research function. Key Accountabilities: As
Consumer Scientist/ Psychologist you will develop and manage a Behavioural Psychology
Group within Applied Research to support the Applied Research team's development
of novel technologies / products that support the Group Innovation and consumer
protection policies. You will provide support and guidance for a small team and
project manage workflow. As Consumer Scientist/ Psychologist
you will also establish new links and help develop established relationships with
external research groups and / or universities to undertake research on our client's
behalf, using your network and experience to help identify potential collaborators
within centres of excellence globally. In this capacity you will also capture
insights into consumer behaviour revealed by other research activity within academic
institutions, commercial organisations or special interest groups. You will act
as an expert point of contact with these external bodies, raising our client's
profile within the research community. Our client actively
participates in publishing its research and as such you will act as an internal
and external peer review of technical reports, publications and presentations.
As Consumer Scientist/ Psychologist you will also author and deliver reports and
presentations. As Consumer Scientist/ Psychologist you
will also use appropriate psychological methodologies to develop a wider understanding
across our client's organisation of the way in which their customers/ consumers
use, react to and build an experiential relationship with their products. As such,
you will provide direction and consultancy services to our client's employees.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Degree
in Consumer Science or Psychology, (ideally PhD in Behavioural Psychology). Practical
experience in the area of habitual behavioural psychology, either in a research
institute or a commercial organisation. Salary, Benefits
and Relocation Package: This is a senior management grade
position and will therefore attract a significant basic salary and car allowance
(details on request). In addition, a comprehensive benefits
